Musée de Salagon

The Musée de Salagon is a departmental museum located in Mane, in the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
It comprises a Renaissance priory and a Romanesque church, both listed as historic monuments, and six hectares of gardens.
It has been awarded the labels « musée de France », « jardin remarquable » and « ethnopôle », and aims to promote the past and contemporary culture of Provençal society. The term « ethnopôle » refers to a label that designates a national centre for research and resources in ethnology.
