Centre français du patrimoine culturel immatériel (CFPCI)

The French Centre for Immaterial Cultural Heritage (CFPCI) is is one of eleven French Ministry of Culture ethnopôles forming the ethnopôle network. CFPCI centres its reflection around different axes:
 a comparative approach to the ICH policies implemented by the states which are party to the UNESCO Convention (2003), particularly in Europe ;
 an observatory of the practices and uses of this “new” heritage category; and
 participating in the inventory of ICH in France.
