« Les Réveillées »

Designed to nourish research as well as musical creation, but also for a wider audience, the “Les Réveillées” website was put online in June 2021. It provides an opportunity to read, hear and watch the archives of the main surveys carried out by the CNRS ethnomusicologists assigned to the Musée National des Arts et Traditions Populaires, Claudie Marcel-Dubois (1913-1989) and Maguy Pichonnet-Andral (1922-2004). Conducted in metropolitan and overseas France or in certain French-speaking territories, they cover almost half a century from 1939 to 1984.
