Presentation :
Georges Condominas is director of studies at the EHESS, founder of the Documentation and Research Centre on the Ethnology and Sociology of South-East Asia and the Insulindian World, visiting professor at several American and Japanese universities, and UNESCO expert for the protection of intangible cultural heritage. The material he has collected during his research missions (Vietnam, Togo, Madagascar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, etc.) has been used to write numerous books, articles, films and records.
